ART® (Active Release Techniques®)
Active Release Techniques® (ART®) is a manual soft tissue therapy designed to improve tissue mobility and remove areas of soft tissue adhesions. Soft tissue, or myofascial adhesions, are the result of either acute injuries (sprains, strains) or repetitive overuse injuries. This results in soft tissue movement impairment and corresponding pain. ART® utilizes specific hands-on approaches in identifying and treating these injured areas.

Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments involve assessment and improvement of joint mobility through specific high-velocity thrusts. Joint restrictions and inefficient motion can result in pain in that area, as well as compensation and subsequent pain in adjacent body regions. When the joint is mobilized quickly, the change in pressure within the joint can form a gas bubble, which then pops – resulting in the audible “crack”. Adjustments often result in a nearly immediate sensation of relief and improved range of motion. Sometimes, these adjustments can be performed with the assistance of special tables (“drop tables”) to help with patient tolerance.

Corrective Exercise
Through corrective exercise, the overused, painful, and/or injured tissues can be safely loaded with the goal of improving overall function. The exercises are based on any dysfunctional patterns or movements identified during assessment. They may also be collaborated on with your provider for the purpose of specific individual goals such as sports performance or injury prevention.

FAKTR® (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab®)
What is FAKTR?
Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) is a combination of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and rehabilitation methods to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries. FAKTR assesses the current state of the patient along their path to a pain-free state and adapts treatments based on this status. It allows a progression of treatment and rehab protocols that follows the patient as they improve and while maintaining a level of safe – but challenging – rehab.

Graston Technique ®
Graston Technique® (GT) is a form of soft tissue therapy in which specially designed stainless-steel instruments are used to identify & effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. The technique improves soft tissue mobility through the removal of fascial adhesions between tissue layers. Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR) was derived from Graston Technique®, incorporating active patient movement with instrument-assisted treatment.

Rocktape® • Dynamic Tape®
Rocktape® improves performance by reducing muscle fatigue and promoting proper form. Unlike conventional tape, which constricts blood flow, Rocktape® lifts the skin away from muscles, which increases blood flow. Rocktape® also helps promote proper form by helping athletes coordinate their movements, which leads to efficiency.
Dynamic Tape® is a biomechanical tape which is applied to modify load to a specific joint or tissue. It acts like a bungee cord to offload injured or overused muscles to correct and protect movement patterns. It has a wide variety of applications, both for sport and day-to-day life.

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) ®
The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) ® is a comprehensive assessment used to classify movement patterns, identify regions for further local biomechanical examination, and ultimately, direct where manual care (such as, adjustments, ART®&/or Graston Technique®/FAKTR)and therapeutic exercisesare utilized.

Golf Fitness Assessments
The connection between your body and your golf swing are forever linked. Your body’s strengths show up in your golf ability and consequently your body’s limitations hold you back.
Identifying your body’s limitations that can lead to helping solve your golf swing inefficiencies. Limitations can be found in specific areas of your body’s golf muscles in 2 categories: mobility problems or strength & stability problems.
The necessary examination to identify these limitations and help solve The Body-Swing Connection is the TPI® Golf Fitness Screen. The TPI® screen has been a major key for PGA Professionals and golf amateurs to better golf, the ability to practice & play more golf, and the goal to avoid injuries from golf.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy is a physical therapy and chiropractic treatment we use to help reduce swelling, muscle pain, and increase range of motion in acute injuries. Sound waves are used to stimulate deep inside the acutely injured tissues, this helps to minimize stiffness, swelling, and pain while also promoting circulation.
