

Dr. Katelyn Westerlund

Dr. Katelyn Westerlund graduated Cum Laude from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2014. She received a Bachelor degree in Human Biology, a Masters degree in Exercise & Sport Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Westerlund is an accredited provider of ART® (Full Body), Graston Technique®, and SFMA® (Selective Functional Movement Assessment).
Dr. Westerlund attended Red Deer College for 3 years before finishing her degrees in Portland, Oregon. She grew up on a ranch in Southern Alberta and was very active, participating in 4-H, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and Taekwon Do. At age 14, she achieved her black-belt and went on to compete at the World Taekwon Do Championships in Cardiff, Wales. During her time in Red Deer she became an accredited basketball official. She continues to referee basketball at the high school and college level in Medicine Hat with the Medicine Hat Basketball Officials Association. She has also coached varying levels of club basketball and girls’ softball over the years.
Originally from a ranch northeast of Oyen, AB, Dr. Westerlund now resides in Medicine Hat.
