Dr. Zachary Walker

Dr. Zachary Walker received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN in 2020. Prior to completing his doctorate, he attended the University of Calgary for his undergraduate studies, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.
Dr. Walker’s extra-curricular training includes soft tissue treatment through ART®, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and
FAKTR®. Along with these, he is fully credentialed in performing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA®) and trained in
assessment and adjustments of the spine through the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI®). For certain conditions, Dr. Walker uniquely offers Dynamic Tape® to offload injured areas. He is continually expanding his learning through reading peer-reviewed research and online involvement in the Better Clinician Project out of the United Kingdom.
Treatment with Dr. Walker includes hands-on therapies, as well as helping patients understand their pain and collaborating on self-management and prevention strategies. Along with in-person appointments, Dr. Walker offers virtual consultations and sessions available for any Alberta resident.
Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Dr. Walker has acted as the Trainer for the U16 AAA SEAC hockey team and has been involved in minor hockey coaching roles in the past. Dr. Walker enjoys outdoor activities, often with his Blue Heeler, Ollie, and continues his lifelong interests in hockey, golf, mountain biking, snowboarding & skiing.
